{EN} healthy vegan maybe choc, maybe not pancakes

To celebrate the last day of 2014 I made these for breakfast. They are sweet, vegan, fluffy, chocolaty and … healthy! I used my old healthy vegan pancakes recipe and made it even healthier by replacing one ingredient. They turned out so yummy and great, serious foodporn.

you need: (for one stack as pictured)

  • 2 tbsps mashed banana, make sure the nana is ripe, you can use the rest as topping 😛
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar
  • 1 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 cup sparkling water
  • 2 tbsps baking powder
  • (optional) 4 tsps carob powder and some dark chocolate chunks

method:

  1. combine all dry ingredients
  2. add the water, then the mashed banana and the agave nectar,stir well
  3. pour some of the batter into a pre-heated pan, you can put some oil in the pan beforehand, it won’t be that sticky then
  4. top with whatever you want (I LOVE maple syrup and hot raspberries)
  5. enjoy! 🙂
